How it works

What happens to a creator fee on FeeOS, from the trade that pays it to the wallet, burn or pool it ends in.

One trade, followed to the end

Each buy or sell on pump.fun pays a creator fee. pump.fun sends 3% of it to FeeOS and the rest to the coin's vault, and the vault pays out by the coin's split. Nobody has to press a button.

The life of one fee

Four steps, all on chain, none of them needing anyone to press a button.

  1. 1

    The coin launches

You fill in the coin and its split and sign once. FeeOS creates the coin on pump.fun, points its creator fees at a vault made for this coin, and gives up the right to point them anywhere else. Launching costs 0.01 SOL.

From the first trade, the creator never receives the fee directly. Their share comes out of the vault like everyone else's.

  2. 2

    Every trade pays the vault

Each buy and sell on the bonding curve, and later in the PumpSwap pool, pays a creator fee.

pump.fun divides it at the source: 3% to FeeOS, the rest to the coin's vault. That is the only charge after launch.

  3. 3

    The split pays out

What is in the vault is divided by the split in force when it arrived. The creator's and partner wallets' shares are sent straight to them.

The holders' share is listed per holder and waits to be claimed. The burn share buys the coin back and burns it. The liquidity share waits for the pool, then goes in and stays.

  4. 4

    A change waits in public

The creator can propose a new split at any time. It shows on the coin's page and on the Changes board with a 24 hours timer, and the old split keeps paying until it ends.

The creator can cancel a change. Nobody, FeeOS included, can make the wait shorter.

Six answers to “where does the fee go?”

Pick one, or blend all of them. Each line on the split is its own payout.

To you

Your share lands in your wallet by itself as trades come in. No claiming, no dashboard to babysit.

To holders

Every holder earns by how much of the coin they hold, and claims it when they like.

Into buyback and burn

The coin buys itself back and burns it, on the curve or in the pool.

Into liquidity

After graduation it deepens the PumpSwap pool, and that liquidity is locked in the vault.

To other wallets

Up to six addresses: a co-founder, an artist, a charity, a treasury.

Any mix of them

Shares in steps of 0.01%, adding up to 100%. Change it later, in public.
